"TRAP" Title Design/Animation
Main title design/art direction/animation for Warner Brother's 2024 "TRAP" from M. Night Shyamalan. Main title treatment was used for AV marketing campaigns, OOH/outdoor advertising, and DOOH/digital out of home. Leaning heavily into typography exploration, and wanting to maximize a large bold font as a viewing matte, I added the vertical lines as a nod to barcodes found on concert tickets, and animated them as if the are literally trapping the lead actor behind the lines as if prison bars in the trailer. The scope of the project initially was just for the AV campaign, but the studio was so pleased with its execution it was implemented into their 360 campaign encompassing OOH/DOOH.
